Run a financial report

Use the Financial category in Reports v2 to view revenue trends, track outstanding invoices, and understand your payment mix. Six live reports are available.

Before you start

  • You need an Admin or Manager role to access Reports.
  • Navigate to Reports v2 in the left-hand navigation (under Management).

Steps

  1. Open Reports v2 from the navigation menu.
  2. Under Categories, select Financial. The category description reads: “Revenue, AR aging, invoicing health, and payment mix.”
  3. Choose the report you want to run. The six live Financial reports are:
    • Revenue Trend — tracks revenue over time, useful for spotting seasonal patterns.
    • AR Aging — shows outstanding receivables bucketed by age (current, 30, 60, 90+ days).
    • Job Profitability — compares job revenue against labour and material costs.
    • Additional invoicing health and payment mix reports are available in the category list.
  4. Apply any date range or filter controls on the report page to scope the data to your period of interest.
  5. Review the charts and summary metrics on screen.
  6. To export, use the export action available on the report page. Financial reports support CSV export for further analysis in spreadsheet tools.

Result / verify

The report renders with data for your selected date range. If you run Revenue Trend, you should see a chart showing revenue over time. If you run AR Aging, you see a table of outstanding invoices grouped by age bucket. Exported files download to your browser’s default download folder.

Troubleshooting

  • If a report shows no data, check that your date range includes periods where jobs were completed and invoiced.
  • If the Financial category shows fewer than six reports, some reports may be restricted by your subscription plan. Contact Servinix support to confirm your plan’s report access.
