Tech mobile app overview

Servinix Go is the mobile companion to the Servinix portal. It gives field technicians everything they need to work through their day — viewing schedules, executing jobs, capturing signatures, logging time, and staying in sync with the office.

What technicians do in the app

A typical day flows through a small set of steps: Start of day. Open the app and tap Start shift from the Now tab. The app records your shift start time and shows you the jobs queued for today. Check the schedule. Switch to the Schedule tab to see a week strip of upcoming days. Tap a day to expand the job list for that date, showing customer name, scheduled time, and address for each entry. Accept and travel to a job. From the Now tab, select the job and tap the navigation button to launch turn-by-turn directions. When you arrive, tap I’m Here to mark yourself on-site. Work the job. Step through the task list, capture photos, fill out task forms, and add notes. Use Step away to pause the timer mid-job without losing progress. Close the job. Collect the customer’s signature on-screen, then complete billing — send a payment link, tap to pay on-device, or record a cash or check payment. End of day. Return to the Me tab and tap End shift to close your shift log.

How the app pairs with the portal

Dispatchers create and assign jobs in the portal. The app receives those assignments and keeps job status in sync. Changes made in the field — task completions, photos, time entries, payments — flow back to the portal in real time. When connectivity drops, the app queues changes locally and uploads them automatically when the connection returns.

First-time setup

On first launch the app runs a short onboarding flow: the Welcome screen introduces the assistant, followed by the permissions screen where you grant location, motion, and notification access. After granting permissions, the Day Preview screen shows today’s schedule before landing on the main tabs.
