Schedule a job from the Inbox
Book a job for a customer directly from their conversation thread. The Schedule visit flow lets you pick a service type and available time slot without navigating away from the Inbox.Before you start
- The customer must have a record in Servinix. If they are a new contact, add them first. See Add a customer.
- You need dispatcher or admin access to schedule jobs.
- Available time slots are based on your team’s current schedule and configured service types.
Steps
- In the left navigation, select Inbox.
- Open the conversation with the customer you want to book.
- In the conversation panel, select Schedule visit.
- The Schedule visit panel opens with the heading Book a visit for this contact.
- Under Schedule Job, select the Service Type from the dropdown. Available types include: Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and General.
- Review the Next Available time slots listed below the service type. Servinix shows the next several available windows, for example:
- Mon, May 25, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Mon, May 25, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- Tue, May 26, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Select the time slot that works for the customer. To see more options, select Pick another time…
- If you want to notify the customer of the booking, leave Send confirmation to customer checked.
- Select Schedule to confirm the booking.
