Enable push notifications

Turn on push notifications so Servinix Go can deliver real-time alerts when a job is reassigned, a payment is received, or a background sync completes.

Before you start

You need the Servinix Go app installed and an active account. The notification permission prompt appears automatically during onboarding. If you already completed onboarding and missed the step, follow the manual instructions below for your platform.

What notifications Servinix Go sends

The app delivers three categories of notification:
  • Dispatch — job reassignments and schedule changes from the portal (for example: “Job SVX-9012 was reassigned”).
  • Payment — confirmation when an invoice is paid.
  • System — background events such as offline sync completion.
All notifications arrive in the Notification Center. Access it by tapping the bell icon on any main screen header or by scrolling to Notification Center on the Me tab.

Steps — grant during onboarding

  1. On the permissions screen, locate the Notifications row (step 5 on iOS; step 3 on Android 13+).
  2. Tap Allow on the row.
  3. When the system prompt appears, tap Allow.
The row shows a filled toggle once granted.

Steps — enable after onboarding on iOS

  1. Open SettingsServinix GoNotifications.
  2. Turn on Allow Notifications and enable Alerts, Sounds, and Badges.
  3. Return to Servinix Go.

Steps — enable after onboarding on Android

  1. Open SettingsAppsServinix GoNotifications.
  2. Turn on All Servinix Go notifications.
  3. Return to Servinix Go.

Result / verify

Open Servinix Go and tap the bell icon in the header. The Notification Center screen loads. New dispatch, payment, and system notifications appear here as they arrive. Unread notifications display with an elevated card style; tap any notification to mark it as read.

Troubleshooting

Notifications are not arriving. Confirm notifications are on in device Settings. On Android, also check that the battery setting for Servinix Go is Unrestricted (Settings → Apps → Servinix Go → Battery) — battery saving can block background delivery. The notification prompt did not appear during onboarding. The app will not re-prompt automatically. Follow the manual steps for your platform above.
