Change language and date/time format

Set your organization’s regional preferences — measurement units, date and time display formats, and time zone — so all dates, distances, and temperatures display correctly across the portal and mobile app.

Before you start

These settings are organization-wide preferences stored under Settings → Account & Branding → ORGANIZATION PREFERENCES. You need Admin access to change them.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings in the left navigation and select Account & Branding.
  2. Scroll to the ORGANIZATION PREFERENCES section.
  3. Set MEASUREMENT UNITS to either:
    • Metric (Kilometers, Celsius, Kilograms)
    • Imperial (Miles, Fahrenheit, Pounds)
  4. Set DATE FORMAT — choose how dates appear across the portal (for example, YYYY-MM-DD, DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY, or MMM D, YYYY).
  5. Set TIME FORMAT — choose between 12-hour and 24-hour variants (for example, 12-hour (02:30:15 PM) or 24-hour (14:30:15)).
  6. Set DATE TIME FORMAT — a combined format used when both date and time appear together (for example, Standard (2024-12-31 02:30:15 PM) or US (12/31/2024 02:30 PM)).
  7. Set TIME ZONE from the dropdown (for example, America/New_York or Asia/Kolkata). This affects how scheduled job times and report timestamps are displayed.
  8. Click Save Changes at the top of the page.

Result / verify

After saving, reload any jobs or reports page. Timestamps and distances should reflect the new format and units. The mobile app syncs these preferences when the technician next opens the app.

Troubleshooting

Time zone shows UTC after saving — Confirm you selected a named zone from the dropdown (not just “UTC”) and clicked Save Changes before navigating away. Mobile app still shows old format — Log out and log back in to force a preference sync.
