# Switch between light and dark mode

> Toggle the Servinix Go app's color theme between light and dark from the Me tab so technicians get a readable display in any lighting condition.

# Switch between light and dark mode

Change the Servinix Go color theme from the **Me** tab. The preference saves to your account and syncs to the server so it applies on any device when you sign in.

## Before you start

You must be signed in to Servinix Go. The dark mode setting is in the **Preferences** card on the Me tab.

## Steps

1. Tap the **Me** tab (the rightmost tab in the bottom navigation bar).
2. Scroll down to the **Preferences** card.
3. Find the **Dark mode** row.
4. Tap the toggle to switch the theme. The app appearance changes immediately.

## Result / verify

The app background and text colors update instantly. The next time you sign in, the app opens in the same mode.

## Troubleshooting

**The toggle flips back on its own.** The app syncs your preference to the server in the background. If the server has a conflicting value from a different device or session, it may overwrite the local setting briefly. Tap the toggle again to re-apply your choice.

**The theme does not change after tapping the toggle.** Force-close the app and reopen it. The preference will apply on the next launch.
