# Customize job status labels

> Change the display labels for Servinix job lifecycle stages—such as renaming Assigned or In Progress—from Settings → System without breaking automation.

# Customize job status labels

Rename the display labels for job lifecycle stages to match your team's terminology — for example, changing "In Progress" to "On Site" or "Done" to "Closed."

> **Portal verification needed.** The specific Settings sub-page that exposes job status label customization could not be located during initial portal research. The general approach below is based on the product inventory and the known job status model. Steps should be verified in the portal before this article is deepened.

## Before you start

* You need an Admin role to change system-level configuration.
* Job status labels are tenant-wide. Changing a label changes how it appears everywhere in the portal and mobile app.

## About job statuses

Servinix uses seven built-in job status stages:

| Stage | Default label |
| ----- | --------------- |
| 1 | Scheduled |
| 2 | Dispatched |
| 3 | In Progress |
| 4 | On Hold |
| 5 | Cancelled |
| 6 | Payment Pending |
| 7 | Done |

These statuses drive the job lifecycle from creation to completion. Customizing labels changes only the display name — the underlying status logic and transitions remain the same.

## General steps

1. Go to **Settings** in the left-hand navigation.
2. Navigate to the **System** configuration area (listed under "Integrations & System" on the Settings page as "Resource & device type registries, custom fields, and other tenant configuration").
3. Locate the job status label configuration. This section allows you to enter a custom display name for each of the seven status stages.
4. Enter your preferred label for each status you want to rename.
5. Save your changes.

## Result / verify

After saving, the new labels appear on the Jobs page, in the dispatch view, and in the Servinix Go mobile app wherever job statuses are shown.

## Troubleshooting

* If you cannot find job status label settings within the System page, the configuration surface may be on a different Settings sub-page. Check with Servinix support to confirm the correct location for your account version.
