# Cosmos Assistant overview

> What the Cosmos Assistant sidebar is—asking about jobs, schedule, fleet, and settings in plain English—and how it differs from the phone-based AI CSR.

# Cosmos Assistant overview

Cosmos is Servinix's in-portal AI copilot. It appears as a ◆ sidebar panel on every page in the portal and lets you ask questions about your business in plain language — without navigating to a specific report or settings page. Cosmos is entirely separate from the AI CSR (Maya): it does not handle phone calls and has nothing to do with your phone receptionist setup.

## What Cosmos can do

Cosmos understands questions about the main areas of Servinix:

* **Jobs and schedule** — "How many jobs are in progress?" / "What's happening today?"
* **Estimates** — "Are any estimates expiring soon?" / "Show me draft estimates."
* **Fleet and vehicle location** — "Where is my fleet right now?" / "Show vehicle locations."
* **Messages and inbox** — "Show unread messages."
* **Settings and team** — "Show all settings." / "How many users are on my team?"

You can type any of these as free-form questions in the **Message Cosmos…** input at the bottom of the sidebar. Cosmos also surfaces suggested prompts when you open the panel so you can start with one tap.

## Where to find it

The Cosmos sidebar is accessible from every portal page. Look for the ◆ symbol in the bottom section of the left navigation. Clicking it opens the panel without leaving your current page.

To reset the conversation and start fresh, click **Start over** at the top of the panel.

## Limitations

Cosmos is a read and query assistant — it surfaces information, it does not take actions on your behalf. It cannot create jobs, edit settings, or make calls. It also cannot access call data managed by the AI CSR (Maya); for call metrics and outcomes, use the AI CSR operations hub at `/receptionist`.

Cosmos works best on desktop. Some portal surfaces display a prompt to open on desktop for editing or configuration tasks.
