# Can't sign in

> Troubleshoot Servinix login failures including wrong password, locked accounts, expired MFA codes, and multi-tenant account selection issues.

# Can't sign in

Use this article to diagnose and resolve login failures on the Servinix portal or the Servinix Go mobile app.

## Why this happens

Login failures have a small number of common causes:

* **Wrong email or password.** The most common cause. The login form accepts only the exact email address registered to your account.
* **Forgot password.** Passwords are not stored in a recoverable form; a reset link must be sent.
* **Account locked or suspended.** After several failed login attempts, accounts can be temporarily locked. Suspension can also occur due to a failed subscription payment.
* **Multi-tenant account selection.** If your email is associated with more than one Servinix organization, the app presents an account picker ("Select Account"). Choosing the wrong tenant after login will show the wrong data, which can look like a login failure.
* **Browser or app issue (portal only).** Stale cookies or a cached session can prevent a fresh login.

## Try this first

**Portal**

1. Open an incognito or private browsing window and go to the Servinix portal login page.
2. Enter your email exactly as it was registered — check for extra spaces and confirm the domain.
3. Enter your password. If you are unsure of your password, click **Forgot Password?** on the login screen and follow the reset email instructions. See [Reset your password](/account-billing/account-and-profile/reset-your-password).
4. After login, if a **Select Account** picker appears, choose the correct organization name.

**Servinix Go mobile app**

1. Open the app. On the **Servinix Go** login screen, enter your email and password.
2. If the app shows "Login failed," verify the email is correct and try a password reset.
3. If a **Select Account** bottom sheet appears, tap the correct organization name to continue.
4. If you see "Please enter a valid email," check for typos — the field validates format before submitting.

## If that didn't work

* **Still can't log in after a password reset.** Check your spam folder for the reset email. The link expires after 24 hours — request a new one if it has expired.
* **Error persists across devices.** Your account may be locked or suspended. Contact your Servinix account admin or Servinix support. See [Account locked or suspended](/account-billing/account-troubleshooting/account-locked-or-suspended).
* **MFA prompt does not arrive.** If your organization uses multi-factor authentication and you are not receiving a code, see [Manage multi-factor authentication](/account-billing/account-and-profile/manage-mfa).
* **Portal loads but shows a blank screen after login.** Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again in a fresh browser session.
